In 1994 Nico's Records released a compilation CD that featured 6 dutch underground hiphop acts. Now, exactly 30 years later, some of the tracks will be re-released on vinyl. This sequel (series) will be started by the group called Sources Of Specialment.

On side A of this record you can find the four tracks that appeared on the CD. These tracks are the studio recordings (Boterdiep, Groningen) and were remastered for vinyl.

Side B is for the collectors. Not only can you find the instrumentals of the tracks on side A, but also the show-intro of the group at that time and a never released beat called 'Rumors getting smeared' (the instrumental). All of these are special versions. They were created up to a year before the CD was recorded. And special bonus track is the first recording of the first verse of 'Intelligent thoughts'. The beat for this was never used and was lost. The vocals were recorded Too Short style, but panned hard left and right. All beats were made in OctaMED on the Amiga 500 synced to a Roland TR-626. They were recorded to cassette tape, so at some spots you can hear some wow and flutter. The instrumental of 'Kid on the mic' is a lot faster than the blockbuster version. SOS later liked the song better with a more mellow pace.
